Traditionally held on the eighth day after birth, when the baby is formally presented to the world, symbolising a new chapter of life and hope.
The elder performs sacred rituals, touching the baby's lips with water and wine to teach the difference between truth and falsehood, then reveals the chosen name.
Family and friends shower the newborn with prayers, gifts, and words of wisdom, welcoming the little one into a community of love and support.
